Sidewinder 400

I have an original Sidewinder wing (larger wing area than the Sidewinder II) that has seen better days. It is in flying condition but not up to discus launching - creases in wing have been repaired. With it's large wing area it makes a good wing for a speed 400 electric glider. The fuse I made for it is balsa and ply with a carbon boom. I used the V-tail from my discus converted Aspen Leaf HLG. The flying weight is 18.2 ounces and the climb rate is very good with the 6 volt speed 400 and 7x600 mah NICD pack and a 6x4 folder from Dymond.
